The El Toro Aquatics Booster Organization is a parent group that exists to support the Aquatics
programs at El Toro High School. We accomplish this financially through your contributions and fundraising activities. We support our athletes by attending sporting events and
volunteering our time to the organization. A short booster history!
Our Mission Is Quite Simple.....
To provide the additional funds needed to operate the aquatics program at El Toro High School
above and beyond the monies received from the Saddleback Valley Unified School District;
To promote and improve school spirit and sportmanship in the El Toro Aquatics Program;
To attempt to provide every student-athlete, parent, friend and spectator with a meaningful
and positive experience with the program;
To continue to support the high-quality, competitive sports program that has earned
El Toro Aquatics recognition and respect in the sports community.
An Additional Note to Our Aquatic Families.....
All families whose students participate in the El Toro Aquatics Program are encouraged to participate in the
Aquatics Booster Program. When you become a booster member, the funds received for membership
are spent to support the aquatics program. Upon joining, the ETHS Aquatics Booster Board
Members will maintain an amount of credit earned by your family through participating in
Booster Fundraising Activities such as the Scrip Program. Credit must first be used for contributions toward the expenses of the Aquatics Program. Then any excess credits can be applied to other costs incurred by the athlete's
participation in the ETHS Aquatics (suits and other equipment, travel costs).
ETHS Bus expenses are collected at the beginning of the school year cannot be paid
with Booster Credits because this is a Saddleback School District expense that is charged
to all athletic sports and is separate and distinct from the El Toro Aquatics Program.
Your family's first athlete pays the regular contribution for each sport. Each additional athlete will
receive a reduction in contributions for each sport. A reduction in contributions for each aquatics athlete that
does multiple aquatics sports may receive a discount per board review in December 2007 and
a final announcement will be made at that time. Each booster family will receive 2 banquet tickets
for their first athlete and 1 banquet ticket for the second athlete. If a second parent or additional
guests would like to attend the banquet, $30 will be charged for each guest to be
paid prior to the banquet and upon reservation. Date To Be Announced.
Travel Expenses are limited to Varsity Teams and are additional and are required
to be paid up front.
The El Toro Aquatics Booster Board want all Booster Families to know that they have made every
effort to keep aquatics fees as low as possible. The El Toro Aquatics Program is not subsidized
by the Saddleback School District and is a program that runs on the aquatic registration contributions
that it collects during each season. There are 4 seasons, boys' fall water polo,
girls' winter water polo, boys and girls' swimming and boys and girls' summer season.
